Ellis Patents has undertaken rigorous short-circuit testing of the Emperor cleat has withstood the highest-circuits and is the only Company to undertake voltage tests on the cable after short-circuits

— 72kA RMS, 154kA peak short-circuit fro two bolt fixing
— 55kA RMS, 130kA peak short-circuit for single bolt fixing
— Short-circuit & voltage reports available on request
 
 • Unique Patented Construction
— Type 316 stainless steel frame offers ultimate protection againts the harness corrosive conditions
— The frame base offers a dual fixing option of 2 x 10mm or 1 x 12mm fixing
— Integral liner and base pad in a flame retardant, zero hologen polymeric material which, in the event of fire emits low smoke and fumes
— The liner also provides protection for the cable and cushions the cables during short-circuit conditions, helping to avoid cable damage
 
 • Versatility in Design
— Suitable for high voltage single & multi-core with extensive range of cable diameter accommodation
- 24 mm - 119mm for trefoil cable formation
- 34 mm - 72mm for single cable information
— Range-taking version also available where exact cable diameter is not known
— Special applications - Emperor is versatile in manufacture, allowing the design and manufacture of specials for non-standard requirements i.e. for 2,4 & 5 cables
